Made in Motion

Made in Motion is a forthcoming residency and exhibition initiated by Gallery SOTACA, exploring how contemporary Chinese functional art can enter dialogue with the global creative scene.

Planned to take place in London in 2026, the project brings together artists working with ceramics, wood, and natural materials to reflect on craftsmanship as a language of motion, emotion, and material intelligence.

The residency will focus on co-creation, experimentation, and cultural exchange—offering time and space for Chinese and UK-based artists to think, make, and move together.
