Libido – Ritual Form is a monumental table that balances sculptural strength with meditative poise. Designed by Dahua Yin, it reflects his signature language—merging traditional Chinese carpentry with the restrained ethos of Nordic furniture.
Crafted from solid oak and accented with oxidized copper, the table is entirely hand-built. Its generous scale and minimal components evoke the ceremonial aura of ancient altars, while its structure remains clean, modern, and grounded. The surface flows in long, uninterrupted planes, subtly celebrating the grain of the wood and the tension of each joint.
Inspired by the philosophy of ritual as design, the piece invites gatherings, conversations, and slow presence. It holds space without dominating it.
Best suited for architectural interiors, gallery-like spaces, or statement dining settings, this piece pairs well with natural stone, raw linen, or monochrome artworks. Every table is made to commission and carries unique traces of the hand and the material.
